Faces are being used without permission. We think that should end.
AI has made it cheap to put anyone's face in any ad. Scam ads now routinely show well-known people endorsing trading apps and loans they've never heard of. Takedowns help, but they're always a step behind. We think the better answer is a legitimate way to use a Star's likeness — licensed, approved and traceable — so that the fake ones stand out.
What we stand by
- Consent first
- No likeness is created without the Star's signed licence and in-person capture. We don't build Stars from photos found online, and we don't work around AI providers' safeguards.
- The Star decides
- Stars choose categories, regions, rates and exclusivity, and approve every ad. That approval is enforced by our system, not left to a checkbox.
- Everything is traceable
- Every published ad links back to its licence, its verified likeness, the production job and the Star's approval. The record can't be edited after the fact.
